More than 10 million subscribers play World of Warcraft (WoW), almost half are believed to be in China. Game creator Blizzard Activision has appealed for information, but added: “This exploit has already been hot-fixed, so it should not be repeatable.” They appear to have created a character able to destroy those of other players and those controlled by the game. It seems some Inventive hackers have managed to roll a LvL1 Character that was able to wipe out the entire population of players and NPCs in the games main cities! (It is uncertain what server)īeing a former WoW player I can understand how frustrating and annoying this would have been BUT not being a WoW player any-more, I find it rather amusing… Reminds me of the ‘Make Love not Warcraft’ episode of SouthPark… Staaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn!
